CBA SE takes its role as advocates for archaeology seriously. We now have a representative on a consultative group set up by SE Water.
We send 2 newsletters each year which contain details of events, excavations and courses which are available in the South East. There are also articles about the archaeology of the 4 counties. Our website holds information about local events, past issues of the newsletter and links to local groups. It also links members to our Facebook page.
We have a ring-fenced Grants Fund which is being built up to support research in the South East in the future and £1 of each fee paid is ring-fenced for this fund. We feel it is important with so many very active local societies and YAC groups that we can help them in their work.
