Bev Kerr

Bev is the Conservation and Community Officer for Wales and is based in the National Museum of Wales, Cardiff. She mainly deals with Listed Building Casework for Wales but is also involved in supporting and promoting community archaeology in Wales.

Bev has previous worked in telecommunications but always had an interest in archaeology. She gave up her career to return to education in 2005 and obtained a BA in Archaeology and Anthropology at the University of Cambridge and an MA in the Archaeology of Buildings at the University of York. She is interested in buildings of all periods and types and particularly enjoys visiting churches. She still likes to take part in archaeological digs when she can and has excavated in this country and abroad.
