About the CBA-East Midlands Group The CBA-East Midlands is an autonomous local group under the umbrella of the national CBA body. Ever since the 1940s we have promoted archaeology across the East Midlands; there has been the occasional schism, but CBA-EM still survives to continue letting people know about what archaeological work is going on in the East Midlands, and to support and collaborate with the other groups around our region who are trying to do the same thing. Below is a list of CBA-EM’s institutional members, with links to their websites where they exist: Arteamus Bingham Heritage Trails Association Buxton Museum and Art Gallery Creswell Heritage Trust Forest Town Nature Conservation Group Framland Local Archaeology Group Friends of Moor Pond Wood Friends of Toton Fields Groundwork Archaeology Ltd Hunter Archaeological Society Leicestershire Archaeological and Historical Society Leicestershire County Council Museums Leicestershire Industrial History Society Loughborough Archaeological and Historical Society Mercian Archaeological Services CIC Middle Nene Archaeological Group Navenby Archaeology Group North East Lincolnshire Archaeology and Local History Society North Lincolnshire Museum Nottingham Historical and Archaeological Society Nottinghamshire County Council Archaeology Ratby Local History Group Retford and District Historical and Archaeological Society Rugby Archaeological Society Rutland Local History and Record Society Society of Ley Hunters  Society for Lincolnshire History and Archaeology Southwell Community Archaeology Group Vikings of Middle England   Council for British Archaeology East Midlands Group: Archaeology for all  Charity No. 1082287 Are you looking for the main CBA national site?
