Grants The CBA-East Midlands group offers small grants for archaeological research within its five counties. Grants are usually for amounts of up to £1000, although slightly larger grants will be considered. Applicants must be a member of the CBA or the CBA-East Midlands group. Applications are considered at the next scheduled CBA-EM committee meeting, and should be submitted at least a week in advance: the next meeting is on 23rd February 2019. CBA Challenge Funding Grants of up to £1,000 are currently available from the national CBA for voluntary groups and independent researchers throughout England. For further details, and information on other sources of funding, see Leicestershire Archaeological and Historical Society Research Grants Grants have traditonally been up to £1,000, but additional resources now mean that applications for considerably larger sums can be considered. For further details, see Industrial Heritage Restoration grants The Association of Industrial Archaeology is offering restoration grants up to £20,000 to not-for-profit organisations. They are for the restoration of historically, technically, architecturally, and/or archaeologically important industrial buildings, structures, machinery, vehicles and vessels within the UK.
