Grants and Funding
CBA WM Annual Grant Fund
In recent years CBA West Midlands has enjoyed a surplus at the end of each financial year, primarily due to the success of the annual day school, News from the Past. We now have a reserve in case of emergencies. We therefore feel that any surplus in future years should be spent as a grant within the West Midlands.
Every year, therefore, a grant will be made available. Eligible groups/organisations can apply for the grant through a transparent application process. The committee will assess the applications and make one or more grants available. The value of the total grant will be made known in April and is expected to be between £500 and £1000 each year. CBA WM will look to fund between one and four projects each year depending on available funds.
How to apply
Applications will be accepted from 1st April each year until 30th April. Successful applicants will be notified in May/June and announced publicly at the AGM in July.
In September 2015 the first Annual Grant was awarded to the Mancetter/Hartshill Roman Kilns Archive Project. A report on the progress the Project made with the aid of the Grant can be downloaded as a 55 KB PDf file.
Funding Opportunities For Local Projects
At the Recording your past, Enriching your future Day School held in Worcester on 22nd October 2011 Andrew Meredith of A Meredith Associates gave a talk with the above title. His presentation is available for download as a 2.6 MB Powerpoint file.
