Community Archaeology Bursaries Project 2012–13 Placements
Applications Have now Closed!
The Council for British Archaeology (CBA) has recently appointed 10 twelve month paid bursary places with different host organisations across the UK, starting in April 2012.
The bursaries are funded through the Heritage Lottery Fund’s Skills for the Future programme, with support from English Heritage, Cadw and Historic Scotland and are aimed at training individuals who already have a good working knowledge of archaeological theory and practice in the skills needed to run and support effective community archaeology projects.
The host organisations and locations for this year of CATPs are below. More details on the successful bursary holders themselves will be available shortly. In order to be kept up to date about future placement opportunities through this scheme, contact the CBA to be added to the project mailing list.
