Europa Nostra Awards

A key Europa Nostra instrument in the propagation of its aims, is its annual Award Scheme. This has three complementary pillars, which, as of 1 January 2000 have been further harmonised and partly renamed: Medals of Honour, Heritage Awards (previously simply called Europa Nostra Awards) and Restoration Fund Grants (formerly called Donation Fund). All, in different ways, give encouragement and recognition to exemplary projects and/or personal achievements in the field of heritage.
