2.3 Aims

The overall aim of this survey was to conduct both a formative and a summative evaluation of the HEIRNET community. Formative because it would try to identify what kinds of information the community members want and how they want it disseminated to them, for the future improvement and creation of HEIRs, and summative because it would also try to establish the success of the currently existing HEIRs and determine the membership of its’ online community.
