CBA East Midlands
CBA East Midlands covers the counties of Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, and Rutland.
The activities we run include two conferences per year, focusing on the latest archaeological research across the East Midlands. We also organise outdoor events in the summer, to explore some of the region's archaeological heritage and visit ongoing excavations. Our Parish Boundaries project aims to compile a Domesday-style record of how parishes are physically defined across the region. Additionally, we have devised an award-winning training workshop that provides guidance to community groups and individuals who would like to carry out their own fieldwork and make available a limited source of grant funding to help such groups.
Membership is £5 per year for each household or society.
