A substantial complex ranging over 10 acres near the Nucleated Roman Settlement of Long Melford dating from the Iron Age. As part of the UCL summer student training under Dr Stuart Brookes three open areas of excavation will expose a Bath House and other features possibly prehistoric. The site tour will follow a comprehensive introduction including previous finds etc.
The tour is arranged on a first come – first served basis and maybe limited numbers. The site in generally flat with only slight inclines and could be wheelchair friendly depending on weather.
