Yes, the CBA is a charity. As such, we rely on support from our members and funders in order to carry out our work in increasing public understanding and participation in archaeology. We also make applications to a range of grant schemes (such as government and lottery schemes), in order to support our project work. The CBA has been dedicated to publishing the best in British archaeology for more than 60 years and we continue to make archaeological research widely available.

British Archaeology Magazine is available from high street newsagents, via a print or digital subscription, and is one of the benefits of CBA membership. You can subscribe and become a member here.

If you have a membership with us, you will get the British Archaeology magazine as part of subscription. If you are not a member you can subscribe or you will be able to find the magazine at WHsmith and other newsagents.

As an existing member, you will need to change your password upon logging in for the first time. To do this, visit the members homepage, and select the 'forgotten password' link. You will then be asked to change your password. Once you have completed this, you will have full access to the member homepage.
