Neil G Smith, BA, FRSA, FSAScot, is a retail worker with a real passion for history and heritage, particularly that which relates to his home county of Kincardineshire.
With amateur interests in archaeology and anthropology, he is proud to be the Founder of the Kincardineshire Association and a Trustee of Stonehaven Tolbooth Association.
A collector from a young age, his current obsession is old communion tokens from Kincardineshire.
A Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland and a Member of the Royal Historical Society, he would love to be able to read and research about his local area much more extensively than he does but, being married with four children, time is at a premium.
