We’re delighted to announce the winners and shortlist for the 2025 Marsh Community Archaeology Awards, delivered in partnership between the Council for British Archaeology and the Marsh Charitable Trust. 

My collection is of seashells, rocks and seaglass from beaches all around the world.

I am a Commercial Fieldwork Project Officer and Human Osteologist for PCAS Archaeology, working in the field on sites around the UK and analysing skeletal assemblages ranging from the Iron Age to Medieval.

I'm an archaeologist that specialises in the archaeology of the First and Second World War Home Front. In particular military defences. 

With funding from Historic England, the Council for British Archaeology (CBA) is formalising the Young Archaeologists' Club (YAC) Young Leaders Pathway to provide structured leadership, mentoring, and archaeological skill development for 16-17-year-olds.
