How to renew

If you have an account, log in or register your email and you will be able to renew from the members area. If you want to renew online but have not provided your email address, please contact member@archaeologyuk.org.

If you are past your expiry period, you will need to sign up again via the joining journey below. If you have any issues with this process, please contact member@archaeologyuk.org

Which magazine will I receive first?

British Archaeology is published every two months, typically in the first week of February, April, June, August, October, and December. If you subscribe after the 20th of the month before an issue is published, your first issue will start with the following edition.

For example: if you subscribe on 1 January, you will receive the February issue as your first. But if you subscribe on 23 January, your first issue will be the April edition.

Refunds

Can I get a refund on my membership?

Memberships are classified by HMRC as charitable donations and are therefore non-refundable. You are welcome to cancel your membership at any time, but we cannot refund any part of your donation.

What if I change my mind?

If you purchased or renewed your annual membership and change your mind, you can receive a full refund. You must submit your cancellation request and proof of purchase within 14 days of the transaction.

How to cancel:
To request a cancellation or refund within your 14-day window, please contact our member@archaeologyuk.org with your proof of purchase. If you pay your annual membership via monthly Direct Debit, you can cancel your agreement at any time, but your cancellation will only take effect at the end of your membership year. You must continue to make your monthly payments until that year concludes.
