This workshop will explore the links between photography, archaeology and the natural world using the stunning buildings and grounds of Bolsover Castle as our inspiration. Working with artist Alejandra Carles-Tolra, you will get the chance to experience creative photography techniques, exploring borders and traces using professional equipment as well as your own phones to capture images of this unique place, where a castle has stood since the 11th Century!
No previous experience or knowledge is necessary, but places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Travel bursaries up to £20 are also available for participants.
This workshop is being organised by the Council for British Archaeology, Shout Out Loud (English Heritage's Youth Engagement programme), and Photoworks.
