"Uncommon songs from Gloucestershire found on the folk song archive ‘Glostrad’: hear the songs, see transcripts and listen to how these were brought from the ‘page to the stage’. Work out their age or their heritage. Discover social history through the song, how it was collected, why it was significant to the singer, and whether it could or should be significant to us now."
Cathy is a musician and a researcher, and often performs as one half of the Tattersmith duo. Their latest album, New Laid Eggs, an exploration and restoration of historic Gloucestershire folk songs, was released last year.
