In view of the continuing special circumstances due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the CBA-Wessex AGM will again be held as a Zoom event. All current members of CBA Wessex are eligible to vote, but non-members are welcome to attend to find out what membership of CBA-Wessex provides.

Attendees will receive a Zoom link the evening before the event.

The AGM will conclude with a presentation by Professor Martin Millett FBA, Laurence Professor of Classical Archaeology, University of Cambridge. Martin will present on ‘Then and Now: reflections on the changing shape of archaeology and the role of the volunteer’. Martin is one of Britain’s most distinguished archaeologists and has strong connections with Wessex, having undertaken excavations on the influential Saxon site of Cowdery’s Down, Basingstoke, and the Roman small town of Neatham, near Alton, amongst others.
