The History Fair is a free event, open to all, taking place on Saturday 18th March, from 10am-4pm at the stunning Beaumanor Hall in Leicestershire.
As you will see, with expert talks from historians, archaeologists, academics and authors and over 30 local history groups and heritage societies showcasing their amazing work, you can clearly see why the tagline for the Fair is “Over 2,000 Years of History on Your Doorstep!” Furthermore, with interactive re-enactments, hands-on activities and even Virtual Reality artefact ‘handling’, this is an event for all ages and backgrounds to come and get a feel for Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland’s astounding heritage!
