Mapping Bradford's History: A Public Consultation

Join us at WG08, Workshop Block, Richmond Building, University of Bradford where we'll be diving deep into the history of Bradford! This public consultation is your chance to find out more about the Mapping Bradford's History project and to hear from attendees about what interests you about the city's vibrant history.

Please reserve a spot to attend. Unfortunately we have limited spaces for the event, only those who have registered can attend.

The event will promote the project within Bradford and build partnerships with interested groups. Through the event we aim to:

  • Engage local knowledge and understanding of the archaeology and history of Bradford, including suggestions for the map's content
  • Build support for the project and for fundraising towards its completion
  • Develop interest in the project and stimulate ideas for the use of the completed historical map locally
  • Prepare the ground for future community engagements

The event will feature talks from local archaeology consultant and project lead, Ian Roberts, and Historic Towns Trust trustee, Prof Sarah Rees Jones.
