Faye Minter presents the most recent results from the final year of field excavations in 2023 together with their recent post-excavation analysis for this exciting National Lottery Heritage funded community archaeological project. Rendlesham was a royal settlement for the kings of East Anglia from the 7th to 9th centuries AD, is mentioned by Bede, and is associated with the famous ship burials excavated in 1939 at Sutton Hoo, making the results of this project of national and international importance.
