Ran by an archaeologist, the blog 'Preowned Past' explores different facets of the cultural heritage market, including the trade in archaeological material (and dinosaurs!). The blog includes personal reflections on the way archaeological material is treated once it becomes commodified and considers the impact of the illicit antiquities trade. Preowned Past has a Resources page for those interested in following Cultural Heritage News, as well as links to training and other interesting blogs on the subject.
