Join walk leaders Barry Mead (local archaeologist, historian & Luton Town fan) and Steve Lowe (Events Organiser) on a trip around the recently restored 13th Century and its associated walled garden.
Hear about the Border Reivers, the Cresswell Family, the project journey, and, of course, the White Lady of Cresswell. This small site has a remarkable history and new information is coming to light almost daily as volunteers continue their research.
A tour of the Walled Garden, a secret place, will also be included. This garden is under restoration but already provides a delightful place to walk or sit.
