Colchester Archaeological Trust Open Day

The Colchester Archaeological Trust invites you to join our open day on Saturday 2nd August from 10am to 3pm. We invite you to connect with archaeology to improve your wellbeing, as this year's archaeology day is linked to the Mind charity's five ways to wellbeing. This event is family friendly, and will have activities to suit all ages and abilities. 

Activities will include testing your finds skills, arts and crafts, our sandpit dig and lots more! All our activities follow Mind's five ways to wellbeing:

Step 2 – Get active

Step 3 – Take notice 

Step 4 – Learn 

Step 5 – Give

Please note we no longer have our own café, but you are welcome to bring a picnic and rest in our picnic area. Toilets will be available.
