Guided walk of the Ancient Kilmartin Glen Monuments

Come and join us on our volunteer-led Guided Glen Walks! You will visit many of the amazing ancient sites in Kilmartin Glen, including the Linear Cairn Cemetery, Nether Largie South Chambered Cairn and Temple Wood Stone Circle. They are a fun and friendly way to discover what makes this landscape so special!

The  walk lasts between 2.5 and 3 hours, using paths and crossing grassy fields, which can be muddy. Weatherproof clothing and footwear are highly recommended.

Children are welcome on the walk if they are accompanied by parents or guardian, and the walk content is suitable for children aged over 10 years. We’re very sorry, but only guide dogs are allowed on our guided walk.

Regarding accessibility, along the guided route there are narrow paths, narrow bridges and gateways, grassy fields which may be muddy if there has been wet weather, meadow grass may also be long. Please enquire via the contact email address if you are a wheelchair user.

This event is aimed at families, individuals and small groups of 6 persons and under. Once you have made your booking, you will be emailed with all the details for the walk.
