Sensory Heritage Walk

Multiple dates and times available

Immerse your senses in the history, heritage and archaeology of Neath by joining this guided walk organised by NPTCBC and Heneb. We will travel through time looking at Roman, Medieval and Industrial archaeological sites as we use our senses to add another layer to this walk.

Community Heritage Officer Sarahjayne Clements (a mobility scooter user and equality, diversity and inclusion specialist) will lead the walk and Dr Edith Evans will stop us at key points to talk about the archaeology present along the route. We will utilise archaeological artefacts or replica's, aroma's, sound and mindfulness along this walk to provoke our senses and take ourselves back to the past.

The walk is accessible for wheelchair users and everyone is welcome to attend. Please get in touch to let us know about any adjustments we could make to enable you to participate in this event.
