Join us for a fun, hands-on day at the Scottish Crannog Centre exploring traditional crafts.
This FREE event is for anyone over 18 years old. Attendees will also receive a £35 travel bursary.
Try your hand at dry-stone wall building, hurdle making and traditional pottery and jewellery making whilst discussing with the craftspeople how traditional skills have shaped their careers and been a key element in the development of the Scottish Crannog Centre's incredible new site.

11:00 - Group Activity Rotation 1*
12:15 - Lunch/'Chomp & Chat' (provided)

14:15 - Tea/Coffee/Cake Break (provided)

16:20 - End (free to explore site until 6pm)
*Participants will take part in 3 hands-on activities throughout the day: Dry-stone wall building, hurdle making and pottery/jewellery making.
This event is delivered by the Council for British Archaeology, who co-ordinate the Festival of Archaeology, in partnership with the Scottish Crannog Centre.
Please note: This event was originally planned for 18-25 year olds but we have now opened the event up for anyone over 18 to attend.
