Archaeology Training Knowledge Exchange - Call for participants!

Archaeology Training Knowledge Exchange - Call for participants!

Join us for a fact-finding workshop to help inform an exploratory project which aims to create a road map for a short course on an introduction to archaeology for non-specialists.

This exciting opportunity has arisen through a knowledge exchange partnership with the Council for British Archaeology, University College London and the National Trust.

The proposed course would support grassroots archaeology - CBA members, volunteers and the wider interested public or those interested in professional development and a career in archaeology.

The workshop will take place online from 5.30-7.30 pm on 14th September 2023.

The workshop is open to all CBA Members and others from across the CBA network, including indivudals and representatives of groups and societies.

The session will help develop the course and will be a real chance to feed in your ideas about what would help people understand, investigate and protect the heritage on their doorsteps.

During the session there will be a series of group discussions using real-life examples to think about what skills and tools people need to carry out their own research and projects.
