AGM followed by Dr Kris Lockyear, Senior Lecturer in Archaeology, Institute of Archaeology, UCL, speaking on ‘A Palace at Verulamium? Recent results from the geophysical surveys’.

Verulamium was one of the largest cities in Roman Britain, now known as St Albans in Hertfordshire. Dr Lockyear has been carrying out geophysical surveys of the site of the Roman town for many years, and we are very excited to hear him bring us up to date on the latest thinking about these impressive remains. Non-members are welcome but may not vote.
