In 1997, a ferryman uncovered an 1,800-year-old sandstone sculpture of a lioness out of the mud in the River Almond near the remains of Cramond Roman Fort in Edinburgh.

Join AOC Archaeology’s Martin Cook to hear what the 2008 excavations at Cramond uncovered at this upcoming Edinburgh Archaeological Field Society Talk.

All welcome, suggested donation £2.
