Could you co-lead Humber YAC?
The Humber branch of the Young Archaeologists’ Club is based in Brough, East Yorkshire and meets monthly on the last Sunday of each month. The club runs hands-on archaeology activities (both inside and out!) for a small membership of around 12 young people aged 8-16.
We are looking for a new volunteer Branch Co-Leader to support the club’s current leader as they begin their maternity leave in January 2027. The new co-leader would collaborate with the current leader from Autumn 2026, with a view to taking over leadership and running sessions until June 2027. Humber YAC is also supported by a small team of Branch Assistants but the new Branch Co-Leader will be responsible for the overall running of the club during this period.
We are looking for someone with experience working with young people and who has an interest in history, archaeology and the world around us – you don’t need to be a trained archaeologist! Please read the Branch Leader role description to find out more about the requirements and application process.
