Hidden Histories Volunteering
Eastside Community Heritage offers a range of volunteering opportunities supporting local history projects. Volunteers help with:
- Creating digital content
- Supporting reminiscence sessions
- Cataloguing archive materials
- Transcribing oral history interviews
Start with one role when applying; additional opportunities may be available later.
Current roles include:
- Archive Volunteer – Assist with cataloguing and digitising materials as part of the Secrets Shared project.
- Oral History Volunteer – Help record and transcribe interviews for exhibitions and publications.
