John Henry Phillips was interviewed as part of the "In Conversation with....." series launched during the Festival of Archaeology.

John Henry Phillips is an award-winning archaeologist, author and filmmaker of Romani descent. He has appeared on BBC One's The One Show, BBC News and across BBC Radio. John founded and led an expedition to locate the wreck of LCH 185 and produced the accompanying documentary, No Roses on a Sailor's Grave.

He is a founder of Romani Community Archaeology, a non-profit uncovering the archaeology of Romani communities alongside present-day Romani people.
