The Boar Oak Project invites you to celebrate the CELTIC FESTIVAL OF THE BEGINNING OF HARVEST SEASON

Work days ~ Saturday 1ST & Sunday 2ND August 2026
Optional extra days for returning volunteers from Monday 27th July - Friday 31st July - Free to attend

For weekends. ~ Arrival is Friday 31ST, between 3PM - 8:30PM or Saturday/ Sunday between 8AM- 9:30am
Camp ends Sunday 8PM
Work hours throughout the week are 10 - 4pm

Join Simon to celebrate the Summer Celtic festival of Lammas within an ancient woodland.

Immerse yourself in rural crafts, practical tasks, fire, hearth, singing and feasting while camping on a real Iron Age Fort from the native Celtic tribe.

Volunteer roles ‣ Chef & assistant ‣ Task workers

• Project tasks may include:
• Build kitchen round house
• Green woodwork
• Bark peeling
• Draw knife working
• Putting main support posts in place
