My Listing Adventure: First World War pillboxes of the River Ant in Norfolk

Chris Kolonko-Weet is an archaeologist specialising in First and Second World War archaeology in the UK. 

Chris recently discovered that a number of First World War pillboxes located along the River Ant in Norfolk have been designated Grade II listing status by Historic England.

Chris Kolonko-Weet

Chris is a qualified archaeologist with over 15 years’ experience of researching, recording and interpreting 20th century military sites in the UK. He currently works within community engagement and can provide consultation as a freelance archaeologist. Chris' main areas of expertise include the defensive landscape and military structures of 1940s Britain and the First World War practice trench systems used to prepare soldiers for the Western Front.
