Llwybr modern mewn tirwedd hynafol | A modern trail in an ancient landscape

The Epynt Way takes the walker around the edge of Mynydd Epynt and Mynydd Bwlch y Groes. It crosses sections of high moorland and deep river valleys, affording stunning views at various points across the Black Mountains, Cambrian Mountains, Brecon Beacons and Carmarthen Fans.

If you are looking for a different walking, mountain biking or horse riding challenge well away from the crowds on Pen y Fan, then you should try the Epynt Way.

Look out for archaeology in the landscape as you walk and make sure you stop at the Visitors Centre which occupies a farmhouse that was vacated during World War Two when land on the Epynt was compulsorily purchased for wartime military training.
