Volunteer at Dales Countryside Museum

Join the team at DCM and help bring the stories of the Yorkshire Dales to life! Volunteer roles may include:

• Event Support – Help run a wide range of museum events.
• Collections Management – Clean, label, photograph, and record museum items.
• Research Room Assistant – Support visitors in finding local history and research materials.
• Family History Volunteer – Assist locals in uncovering their ancestry (Mondays & Wednesdays).
• Museum Garden Volunteer – Help care for the museum’s garden.
• Young Archaeologists Club Leader – Support young people exploring archaeology and local heritage.
