Bradgate Park Archaeological Tour

11:00 AM

After 5 years of excavation by the University of Leicester we now know a lot more about the Park’s archaeology. Join archaeologists Peter Liddle and Prof Richard Thomas to visit the sites and hear about the discoveries, which range from a hunter gatherer site from the end of the Ice Age to a medieval park lodge and the ruined mansion of the Grey family, reputed to be the childhood home of 9 days queen, Lady Jane Grey.
