Join the Council for British Archaeology and Historic Environment Division for an exciting archaeology skills training day at the Historic Environment Division’s Conservation Works Depot in Moira.
In this special event, we are offering a limited number of places for members of the public to have a go at some traditional archaeological practices. The day includes the opportunity to try your hand at three traditional skills - Stone Carving, Lime Mortar/Pointing and Conservation Joinery. Each workshop will last 90 minutes and the day also incudes a demonstration of Blacksmithing.
