Nominations for the Archaeological Achievement Awards open on Saturday 19 July 2025.

Come and find out more about the awards and how you can submit a nomination in our free online clinic.

This is an opportunity for you to ask any questions you have about the awards and the nomination process. You can join at any point during the hour and stay for as long as you need. 

The clinic is free to attend and will take place on Zoom.  

The Awards are coordinated by the Council for British Archaeology (CBA) and celebrate the best of archaeology in the UK and Ireland through five categories:

  • Public Dissemination and Presentation
  • Learning, Training and Skills
  • Early Career Archaeologist
  • Engagement and Participation
  • Archaeology and Sustainability

The successful individual award winners will also be considered for the overall 2025 Outstanding Achievement Award.

Nominations close on Wednesday 3rd September 2025 and the awards ceremony will be held at Queen's University Belfast on Friday 28th November 2025.
