Amphitheatre and Dig Pit Activity

Multiple dates and times available

It’s 100 years since Caerleon's Amphitheatre was unearthed - Britain's only fully excavated Amphitheatre, and a place Romans would have enjoyed sports and entertainment.

Join us at the National Roman Legion Museum, Caerleon, to find out about the excavations and the amazing archaeologist who did most of the work, Tessa Wheeler.

Plus a chance to get hands on and discover some objects of your own in our mini ‘Dig Pit!’
