Crafts From the Past: Day of fun at Lower Moor Farm

Multiple dates and times available

Join Wessex Archaeology and Wiltshire Wildlife Trust for a day of fun exploring heritage crafts using natural materials, surrounded by the wonderful wildlife at Lower Farm Nature reserve.

There will be a variety of activities available to try out, from prehistoric pot making to creating hapa zomes, using the ancient art of flower bashing. An artist will be with us helping you to create a mini nature journal then take it on a sensory walk throughout the reserve.

We will be joined by environmental archaeologists from Wessex Archaeology for object handling sessions and the opportunity to chat to the experts.

The same activities will run across 2 sessions. Join us for one session or make a day of it and join us for both, with lunch at the Dragonfly Cafe or a picnic in-between!
