Festival of Archaeology at Alderley Edge

Mining took place at Alderley Edge from the Bronze Age to the 20th century, find out more about the history of this place with above ground walks and information about the onsite mining by Derbyshire Caving Club and the National Trust, and a display about the miners from the Alderley Edge History group. Families can enjoy some sand box archaeology and try out the Invisible Worlds app for an interactive digital experience about the history and mythology of Alderley Edge.
