Gloucester Archaeology Festival Talk - Archaeological Treasures of Gloucestershire

At this event at Gloucester Guildhall we’ll examine some of the unique finds that the Portable Antiquities Scheme has recorded and look at some of the new discoveries that have resulted, exploring how these finds give us an exclusive connection to the past.

Kurt Adams is the Finds Liaison Officer for Gloucestershire and Avon, working for the British Museums Portable Antiquities Scheme. Being based in both Bristol Museum and Gloucestershire County Council, he records thousands of archaeological objects each year from the Stone Age to the Modern era, all of which are found by members of the public.
