Sat 25 July 10am – 4pm
Inspired by the museum's new "Roman Mendip" gallery - "Lives, Locations & the pursuit of lead", Lucius Julius Hipponicus, a Roman Legionnaire, will be visiting and talking about his everyday life, what the Roman army were wearing when it marched onto the Mendips. With visual and sound effects, he will talk about the artefacts on display in the gallery.
He is happy to answer questions and will also offer photograph opportunities.
