The Newport Medieval Ship Summer Fayre takes place on Saturday 25 July 2026. Discover the secrets of the 15th century merchant ship found in Newport and learn the story of the ship's excavation and conservation. Find out about medieval life with reenactors and demonstrations, discover traditional trades like rope-making, pottery, and wood-turning and take part in family art activities. There will be food available and music all day, inclduing sea shanties! Free entry, free roadside parking and refreshments available. 10am - 4pm.
