Sand pit archaeology & handling objects
Thursday 23 July & Saturday 25 July 2026, 11am to 4pm
Come to Felixstowe during the Festival of Archaeology to discover our local archaeology!
Children can excavate finds in our sandpit, and families can explore our varied handling collection. Both activities shall be outdoors and free (please note, if it rains, we shall have to close the sandpit).
Why not pop into the museum and find out more about the archaeological finds in the area, including displays on Walton Castle and dressing up for children (small admissions fee).
