This Summer, there is a chance to meet our team of archaeologists from the Colchester Archaeological Trust at Cudmore Grove on Mersea Island. You can find us on the live excavation of a Tudor Blockhouse down on the foreshore, or at the artefact processing station in the overflow carpark. We will have both staff and volunteers on hand to talk about our discoveries and tell you more about the site.
From 21st July to the 31st July we will be welcoming members of the public to Cudmore Grove, Tuesdays to Fridays, 10am-1pm or 1:30pm-3pm!
