My Place in Time

These videos provide an overview and the first of the training workshops of the My Place in Time project for YAC leaders and others who may wish to lead a project with their own youth group. My Place in Time’ is a project developed by SharedPast in collaboration with the Young Archaeologists' Club. The project focusses on introducing non-invasive archaeology techniques using online resources, such as old maps, aerial photographs, and LiDAR to young people, which can then be utilised to explore a local place or space which has some meaning to them.

Step 1 - Find your place is an introduction to the online resources. This first Step provides the foundation to the others, which will gradually introduce slightly more advanced techniques. This video is supported by the project resources available here: https://www.yac-uk.org/my-place-in-ti... My Place in Time’ is a project developed by SharedPast in collaboration with the Young Archaeologists' Club.
