Join artist Sarah Li in this free workshop exploring Durham University’s Greek and Roman collections to discuss LGBTQIA+ histories, respond to the collections through Queer storytelling and create your own piece of embroidery.
Complete beginners are welcome, as are experienced embroiderers!
Sarah will be giving instructions on how to do some basic embroidery which can result in storytelling with embroidered words, or you could create an image.
