2024 Festival of Archaeology Finale - Hardwick Hall

Join the CBA for a family fun-filled finale to this year's amazing Festival of Archaeology at the National Trust's Hardwick Hall, celebrating archaeology & community through hands-on and awe-inspiring activities for all!

In addition to actual test pits that visitors can have a go at excavating, there will be re-enactors retelling the life of Bess of Hardwick, hands-on weaving and quill & ink-writing activities, loom weaving, family-friendly joust training for the youngsters and a wandering minstrel playing all the greatest hits of the 1590's!

Festival events and activities will be located within and around the Hall Gardens and will be free to all. Normal National Trust entrance fees apply for attendees wishing to enter the Hardwick Hall building.
