This hands-on illustration workshop will be lead by Historic Environment Record of Northern Ireland (HERoNI) archaeologist Bronagh Murray. A brief overview of the history of archaeological illustration will be presented and participants will be guided through the main techniques archaeologists employ when creating artefact illustrations.
Templates of the Lisnacrogher Scabbards will be provided so that you can produce your own unique version. The Lisnacrogher bronze scabbards are decorated with running wave curvilinear, La Tène decoration and date between circa 300BC and 200 BC.
Age 12+ Suitable for all drawing abilities, all material drawing materials will be provided
